Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Scarlight X ("we," "us," "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on scarlightx.com (the "Site"). For more about how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit. They help the site remember things, like what's in your cart or whether you're logged in, and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, we call them all "cookies."

Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the Site to work. They keep track of your cart, make checkout work, keep you signed in to your account, and help protect the Site and your payment against fraud. They're set by Shopify, the platform our store runs on. Because the Site can't work properly without them, they can't be switched off through our Site.

Preference cookies

These remember choices you make, such as your country, currency or language, and your cookie choices, so you don't have to set them again on every visit.

Analytics cookies

We use Shopify's built-in analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site, for example which pages are popular and whether checkout is working smoothly. This helps us improve the store.

Marketing cookies

We don't currently run advertising pixels on the Site. In the future, we may use marketing tools such as the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel or the TikTok Pixel to measure our ads and show our products to people who might like them. If we do, those tools may set cookies, and we'll update this policy.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by the companies that help us run the store, not by us:

Shopify hosts our store and checkout and sets the necessary, preference and analytics cookies described above.
Payment providers offered at checkout (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal or others) may set cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

Our production partners, which make and ship our products, receive the order details they need through Shopify after you place an order. It doesn't currently place cookies on our storefront.

Each of these companies has its own privacy and cookie policies.

How to manage or disable cookies

You're in control of cookies. Most browsers let you see, block, or delete cookies in their settings, usually under "Privacy" or "Security." You can also set your browser to warn you before a cookie is saved. Your browser's help pages explain how.

If a cookie banner appears on the Site, you can use it to make your choices too. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the cart, checkout, or your account from working.

California residents

If you live in California, you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising on our Your Privacy Choices page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start using new tools. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top.
