Welcome to Scarlight X. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of scarlightx.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. About us

The Site is operated by Scarlight X, based in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Our store runs on Shopify, and our products are made to order and fulfilled by our production partners.

2. Using the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with how it works, try to access it without permission, or use it to send spam or harmful code. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login details safe.

3. Products and colors

We do our best to show our products accurately. Because every item is printed to order and screens display colors differently, the color and placement of the finished product may vary slightly from what you see on screen. Small variations like these aren't considered defects.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders you've already placed. Payment is handled securely through Shopify's checkout.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, there's a pricing error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.

6. Shipping, returns and refunds

Shipping is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Refund & Returns Policy. Both are part of these Terms.

7. Our artwork and intellectual property

All artwork and designs on Scarlight X products and on the Site are created for Scarlight X, beginning with AI and finished by our designer. These designs, along with our logo, product photos, and text, belong to Scarlight X and are protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a product gives you the right to own and enjoy that physical item. It doesn't give you any right to copy, reproduce, resell, or create products from our designs. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our artwork or content for any commercial purpose without our written permission.

8. Reviews and messages

If you send us reviews, photos, comments, or ideas, you allow us to use them to run and promote our store. Please don't submit anything unlawful, offensive, or that belongs to someone else.

9. Third-party services

We rely on third parties such as Shopify, payment processors, our production partners, and shipping carriers. Their services are subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond what's required by law.

10. Disclaimer

The Site and products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we don't make any warranties beyond those stated in our policies.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Scarlight X won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order won't exceed the amount you paid for that order.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
